Carbon Offsetting
Addison is deeply committed to reducing its environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices across all areas of operation. As part of this commitment, Addison has partnered with Make it Wild, a respected environmental organisation dedicated to restoring and protecting natural habitats across the UK.
Through this partnership, Addison has now completed its third consecutive year of carbon offsetting, balancing 300 tonnes of CO₂e through the planting of 82 new trees at High Pasture Reserve in Burtersett, North Yorkshire. This growing woodland forms part of an important long-term project to enhance biodiversity, support wildlife, and capture carbon naturally through carefully managed reforestation.
By investing in these initiatives, Addison not only offsets its operational carbon emissions but also contributes to the creation of lasting environmental value for future generations. The company continues to explore new ways to integrate sustainability into its core business activities—whether through energy-efficient machinery, responsible waste management, or greener logistics solutions.
This ongoing partnership with Make it Wild reflects Addison’s genuine dedication to environmental stewardship, helping ensure that the company’s growth and success go hand in hand with care for the planet.
